Evening Primrose Oil
Evening primrose is a perennial plant native to North America. This plant reaches a height of 1–1.5 meters, and the oil extracted from it is rich in unsaturated fatty acids that have beneficial effects on our body. These acids are cis-linolenic acid and gamma-linolenic acid.
✅ Evening primrose oil and the unsaturated fatty acids it contains are a source of a compound that the body cannot produce itself. Cis-linolenic acid has a positive effect on total cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations in the blood, thus supporting the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.
