L-Lysine PLUS capsules provide a concentrated form of the amino acid lysine, which our bodies cannot produce on their own, but which can provide effective protection against certain pathogens, such as the herpes virus. Lysine also plays an important role in the formation of collagen, the building block of skin, connective tissue, and blood vessel walls. In capsules, it is additionally enriched with added vitamin C. In addition, it can contribute to the formation and maintenance of normal bone structure, energy production processes, and proper muscle function.
